Teaching children and teens dining and social skills
Etiquette Austin provides opportunities for children and teens to learn and practice table manners and social skills that boost self-confidence and create positive impressions. Through hands-on dining tutorials and group practice, students achieve lifetime skills that will serve them well in school, social and professional settings. Information and activities are tailored to fit the age and school grade of the participants. Instruction is available for students in elementary school through college. You can form your own group and we will schedule a time for you or we will notify you when there is an age appropriate class being offered. Ages of participants should not be greater than a three year span.
A session lasts an hour and a half. Classes are $75.00 per class per student and are limited to eight participants. This fee includes a three course instructional meal served using full place settings of dishes, glassware, silverware and linens. Students learn to identify and use all the components of a place setting. Emphasis is placed on appropriate social interaction at a dinner table while using proper table manners and having fun. Fee is non-refundable unless we can fill your cancelled spot before the session begins.
